Bonaparte's Cave State Forest

For a while I have scouted the Bonaparte's Cave State Forest because I love finding random caves or just hidden gems in general. About a month ago, I finally came across where this actual opening was with a brief history explaining the state park name. Needless to say, once I had the coordinates, we headed out to find this historic cave. I did a little more research to see how we could get the closest to the entrance without having to navigate the dense forest the entire way. The New York Department of Environmental Conservation publishes really great maps for almost all of the state forest. We parked at the Green Pond Trail Parking area and did the open hike to the fishing pier. This spot had such a beautiful overview of the pond. Bathroom Leaning Shelf

Ana White's Leaning Bathroom Shelf This was one of my first projects when we bought our house. We had a BEAUTIFUL white, subway tile bathroom, but no storage. This was a quick, rustic fix.
